Matej Dzido is pianist, composer and piano coach. His motto: the impossible sounds possible. His trademark: nimble fingers that always provide musical surprise!
At the age of 13 Matej Dzido was accepted into the Young Talent Program of the University Mozarteum Salzburg in the class of Prof. Lucy Revers-Chin. His majors in music theory, historical performance practice, jazz and popular music, and pedagogy indicated his versatility early on.
After his bachelor’s degree, Matej Dzido continued his piano master’s studies, graduating with unanimous honors in June 2020 with Prof. Dr. Stan Ford.
In 2015, pianist Matej Dzido founded his first own ensemble, (consisting of drums, clarinet, piano & vocals), with which he has already performed at the Hallein Culture Days and Salzburg Festival.
Already during his studies, the pianist did parallel research on his own way of teaching and patented it. During the Covid-19 pandemic and the period of cultural lockdown, the artist founded the 1st Piano Online Academy in Austria, named PIANOFLY©
